Biografie
Angie Gago works as a Senior Researcher and Lecturer at the University of Fribourg. She is also an Associated Researcher at the NCCR-on the move and a Board Member of the Swiss Network of Young Migration Scholars (SNyMS). Previously, she has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Lausanne. She is a PhD in Political Science by University of Milan with a specialisation on Institutions and Public Policy. She studies the influence of the European Union and internationalisation on national welfare states, with a special focus on social and labour market policies. She is the co-author of the book Capitalising on Constraint (Manchester University Press, 2021). Her recent publications have appeared in outlets such as the Journal of European Social Policy and the Journal of European Integration.
