Apply for the 22nd ICC Mediation Competition in Paris!
The Faculty of Law is looking for four motivated students to represent the University of Fribourg at the 22nd ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition, taking place in Paris from 1–6 February 2027.
Organized annually by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the competition is one of the world's leading events in commercial mediation. Every year, it brings together more than 500 participants, including legal professionals, academics, experienced mediators, and over 60 university teams from across the globe.
Through simulated mediation sessions, participants gain practical experience in negotiation and dispute resolution, work alongside professional mediators, and receive valuable feedback from internationally recognized experts.

Preparation
Selected students will benefit from:
- A guaranteed place in Prof. Beyeler’s seminar “Négociation et médiation: mise en pratique!”
- Team training sessions and coaching by professional mediators throughout the Autumn Semester 2026
Academic Recognition
- ICC Mediation Competition: 6 ECTS
- Seminar “Négociation et médiation: mise en pratique!”: 2 ECTS
