The book "Effective Altruism and Religion", co-edited by Dr Dominic Roser from IIEDH, was awarded the Franz Josef II von Liechtenstein Prize 2023.

The book contains contributions on effective altruism from various religious perspectives. Effective altruism is a very secular movement that has generated novel and controversial ideas to solve the most pressing problems of our time. As Dominic Roser points out in his own contribution to the volume, some of these ideas have great potential for ethical reflection and practical action by religious communities.
