Congratulations to Pascal Bertsch, FRIC Group Leader, on receiving a prestigious €1.5 million European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant!

His project, GI-CORONA, will investigate the interfacial dynamics of lipids in the gastrointestinal tract, aiming to provide new insights into lipid digestion and oral drug delivery. The project will be hosted by the Department of Chemistry at the University of Fribourg, in collaboration with the Food Research and Innovation Center (FRIC).

This major grant marks an important milestone for Pascal Bertsch and will further strengthen FRIC’s position as a leading center for food-related research.
