    Description

    This course explores the foundational principles and models of interpersonal communication, emphasizing its application across diverse contexts. Students will explore key theories such as transactional, relational, and cultural communication models to understand the dynamics of human interaction. Through case studies and practical exercises, the course delves into communication within personal, professional, and social environments, addressing a variety of topics (e.g. conflict resolution, intercultural communication, dark side of communication, etc.). Special emphasis is placed on identifying barriers to effective communication and implementing targeted interventions to foster communication competence.

    Evaluation

    1) Oral presentation (group work) of a training intervention. The presentation is evaluated as group work (50%). 

    2) Simulation exercise & written feedback. The quality of the written feedback is evaluated individally (50%).
