The Romanian Orthodox theologian Mihail Comanoiu, Co-Director of the Study Centre for Eastern Churches,  obtained the PhD degree in theology at the Faculty for Orthodox Theology, University of Bucharest, on 25 July 2023. His thesis "Holy Trinity-model of dialogue and communion for the human persons in the theology of Father Dumitru Staniloae" as well as his defense were graded with "Summa cum laude". The research demonstrates the strong relationship between trinitarian theology and anthropology as developed by one of the most prolific orthodox theologians of the 20th century. The thesis is now in editorial process to be soon published in Romania.
