On Tuesday, 26th June 2018, Bishop Nikolai (Olhovskij), bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church outside Russia visited the Orthodox Chapel and the fresco at the "Nigg House" in Fribourg. At this occasion, the key for the Chapel was handed over to Father Ioann Ciurin who is in charge of the spiritual assistance to orthodox students of the University of Fribourg. Bishop Nikolai gave his blessing to the initiative and promised his support.
