It is precisely in times like these that the Christian faith and its perspectives of hope need to be brought into the public debate in a fresh, accessible and proactive way.
The creative and culturally formative power of the Gospel has repeatedly become a resource for the renewal of culture and society and can still be so today. The Christian faith is able to lend depth, beauty and meaning to life. To represent it intelligently, attractively, and comprehensibly, we need not only words but also visible signs that make the good news tangible and concrete.
As "Faith & Society Forum", the 10th Fribourg Conference on theological and social renewal will explore the profile and potential of Christian witness in a pluralistic world.
