With thankfulness we look back on the fifth annual Study Days for the Renewal of Theology and Society held from Wednesday July 20^th – Friday July 22^nd 2018, at the University of Fribourg.

We exceeded our expectations as we were able to receive over 500 participants and 50 speakers. Various confessional backgrounds were represented by both participants and speakers which created a positive, ecumenical atmosphere. The title of the study days was “In Christ: Jointly Towards the Center”. Therefore, the study days focused on the person of Jesus Christ and celebrated the common ground and center of the Christian faith. We were honored that both the Swiss Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Federation of Swiss Protestant Churches officially endorsed this conference which solidified the ecumenical orientation of the study days.
