CT scanners and data analysis workstations
The CT Image Core Facility offers access to the Tescan Coretom and the BRUKER Skyscan 2211 micro CT scanners, we have three workstations for data processing, visualization of 3D data with access to a large spectrum of 3D software.
TESCAN CoreTOM micro-CT
- X-ray source reflection type 30 -230 kV, 300W
- X-ray detector: 43 x 43 cm flat panel with 2856 x 2856 pixels
- 3 micron line-pair spatial resolution
- 9 motorized axes on high precision granite base; 1000 mm scalable heigth for long samples

Bruker Skyscan 2211 micro-CT
- X-ray source open (pumped) type 20 -190 kV, 25 W max.
- X-ray detector: 6 Mp flat-panel and 11 Mp CCD
- Positioning accuracy: <50 nm
- 'Pixel' resolution: up to 100 nm
- Sample size: 20 cm diam.
- Sample weight: 2 kg on piezo, 25 kg on rotation stage
