Biographie

Angélique Bourqui, MSc, is a scientific collaborator at the Institute of Family Medicine of the University of Fribourg. She holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Geneva. She is currently doing her PhD at the Faculty of Science and Medicine of the University of Fribourg jointly with the Center for Research and Innovation in Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences of the CHUV. Her PhD is focused on phytotherapy, including the assessment of the efficacy and security of a Chinese herb in the management of acute bronchitis in Swiss medical settings. Her research interest revolves around the traditional use of medicinal plants with a focus to ensure their efficacy and security by studying them according to scientific requirements.
