Writing Teachers' Tricks – Mit Know-how und Kreativität Schreibprozesse begleiten für Doktoratsbetreuende

Academic or specialist Study meeting

Would you like to read better doctoral theses and other academic papers? Would you like to find more joy in guiding your students and doctoral candidates through the writing process? Would you like to counter the overreliance on AI tools with creative teaching methods that encourage the development of a unique writing voice? Would you like to ground your writing instruction in the latest research findings in the field of writing studies?

Take advantage of the break from classes to explore and try out process-oriented and strength-based methods that infuse the guidance of writing processes, the development of teaching, and your own writing with fresh creative energy!

The workshop is just as suitable for beginners in university teaching and the supervision of academic theses as it is for experienced instructors who want to address current developments with creative writing methods.

Content and Methods:
• Phases of the writing and supervision process
• Writing development and epistemological development
• Strength-oriented text feedback
• The research question as a balancing rod
• Strong writing voices instead of AI-generated phrases

PLUS:
Tailored application of workshop content:
In an individual consultation with the trainer (90 minutes by appointment between the workshop and the start of the semester), you can apply the content and methods from the workshop to your current teaching or specific situations in your supervisory work.

Course language:
The course is taught in German; participants may also express themselves in English.

The number of participants is limited to 10.
