Individual career coaching for postdocs

The Graduate Campus offers postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to receive individual coaching on topics related to academic career development or professional reorientation. The Graduate Campus covers the majority of the cost for a package of three one-hour coaching sessions.

  • Offer spring 2026
      • Three coaching sessions, each lasting one hour
      • Two on-site sessions in Fribourg
        • Dates: 24 April and 8 May
        • Flexible scheduling between 09:00 and 16:30
      • One online session, scheduled individually between the postdoc and the coach
      • Coaching provided by Edith Anna Kunz, Coaching for academics
      • Coaching languages: German, French, or English
      • All inquiries and coaching sessions are handled confidentially
  • Eligibility criteria
    • Fixed-term employment at the University of Fribourg as a postdoctoral researcher. A postdoc is defined as a person holding a doctoral degree, engaged in research and/or teaching, and employed on a fixed-term contract.
    • A coaching topic related to academic career development or professional reorientation
    • Availability in Fribourg on the above mentioned dates
    • Willingness to contribute CHF 100 (approximately one sixth of the total costs)

    • Applications must be submitted via the application form
    • Application deadline: 1 April 2026
    • Communication of results: by 8 April 2026
    • Funding is limited. After verifying that eligibility criteria are met, places will be allocated by lottery among suitable candidates.
