Ekaterina Filep

Biography
Ekaterina is an interdisciplinary researcher with a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Bern, and an MA in Gender Studies from Central European University. Her research interests comprise Soviet environmental history as well as topics and research methodologies pertaining to gender, inclusion, and diversity. Ekaterina has received multiple research grants and international scholarships from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the Swiss Government (ESKAS), Soros Foundation. Currently, she is a member of an international consortium of scholars working on a Horizon Europe funded research project RESIST Fostering Queer Feminist Intersectional Resistances against Transnational Anti-Gender Politics.
