Research topics

Our fundamental reserach focuses on two main topics. Firstly, we investigate the behaviour of deep neural networks to better understand their capabilities and limits with the goal of improving their performance. Our second interest addresses the optimization of the graph edit distance to optimize graph-matching algorithms. We apply these methodologies to several application areas such as historical document image analysis, digital pathology and signature verification.
