Development Plan
The Career Development Plan supports postdocs in planning and reflecting on their professional development.
The Career Development Plan (CDP) is a tool that helps postdocs take an active and informed role in their professional development. It encourages reflection on progress to date, helps clarify career goals, and provides a structured framework for planning next steps in skill development and research.
In addition to self-reflection, the CDP also serves as a helpful guide for constructive discussions between postdocs and their supervisors. Regular dialogue fosters a shared understanding and helps identify opportunities for growth.
To get the most out of your postdoc phase, we recommend that you complete the CDP and discuss it annually with a supervisor or a mentor. This structured discussion can significantly support your professional development.
