Environmental Law

With the minor Environmental Law (60 ECTS) students gain crucial insights into environmental law together with basic knowledge in all fields of environmental sciences and especially in the environmental humanities and ethics. The main part of courses is followed at the law faculty, what provides students with the necessary understanding for applying environmental regulations.

The program is structured as follows:

  • 12 ECTS: Basic courses in environmental sciences (Environmental Ethics, Ecology, Resources and Environmental Law & Economics)
  • 9 CTS: Compulsory elective program in Environmental Humanities
  • 3 ECTS: Excursions as part of the seminar “Focal Points of Sustainable Development” with 3 excursions
  • 36 ECTS: Specialization environmental law (at the law faculty)
