CAS Ethical Decision-Making for Professionals 

Professionals working with animals are increasingly seeking training in ethics to meet ever-stricter regulations, growing societal expectations, or personal moral concerns.

The CAS “Ethical Decision-Making for Professionals” (ED-Pro) is a continuing education program dedicated to teaching ethical decision-making skills. This program makes the tools of philosophical reflection accessible to participants, enabling them to address complex ethical issues in their professional practice. Through robust analytical methods, this CAS strengthens professionals’ ability to make informed and well-reasoned ethical decisions in their respective fields. Combining philosophy, ethological knowledge, and practical skills, this program is the first of its kind offered in Switzerland.

The next CAS ED-Pro program will begin in September 2027. All details for the 2027–28 program will be available in the fall of 2026!
