Natalia wrote her Master Thesis on the topic of "Challenges to Fulfilling the Right to Free, Prior, and Informed Consent: An Analysis on the Discursive Context of Infrastructure Megaprojects. The Mayan train case." She now hold the Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Humanities.

The Master programs in Environmental Sciences and Humanities educate a new generation of environmental scientists with a special competence in environmental humanities and ethics for resolving governance challenges in the fields of the environment, sustainability and climate change. The unique competences acquired are integrative and comprehensive knowledge on how to analyze environmental conflicts and to propose ethically sound solutions to environmental challenges.
