Ognjen Kojanic
Biografie
Ognjen Kojanić is an environmental and economic anthropologist with a primary geographic focus in Southeastern Europe. He is currently conducting the SNSF-funded project “Managing Volumes: Infrastructure in Belgrade Wetlands” at the Unit of Social Anthropology. The primary objective of the project is to develop the analytic of volume as a framework to analyze the political ecology of infrastructure. Empirically, the project will provide a historical account of the transformation and ongoing life in the Pančevo Marshes with a particular focus on voluminal politics. The broader aim of the project is to develop a novel theoretical approach to voluminal politics that will contribute to the understanding how urban environments are managed in the face of climate change.
