Description 

This course explores the microeconomic foundations of macroeconomic analysis, and focuses on some major macroeconomic issues. It explains consumption, investment, and money demand functions through a number of sectoral studies that have been carried out over the last fifty years. It then focuses on inflation, unemployment, and economic growth, discussing macroecomic policies in each step of the analysis. Lectures are completed by workshops and exercices (every three weeks).

 

Teaching modality

According to Dean's Directives, the course will be held both in presence and in remote modality (through MS Teams). However, no recording of the course will be at the disposal of students.
