The volume documents the remarkable convergence between the theologian Dieter Hattrup and the physicist Antoine Weis regarding the ideological implications of physics in the 20th century: In the field of quantum physics, chance is not based on our preliminary ignorance. Physics has to renounce the mechanical world view of a causally determined nature. Thus freedom in nature becomes conceivable again. Today it has become easier to believe in God with physics than without it or even against it.
