RESEARCH & THEOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS

Research Profile

The Christian witness must be reexamined anew in every generation. We seek to explore forms of Christian thought within a (post)modern, highly technological world, transcending denominational boundaries, steering clear of polemics, and cultivating hope. Our goal is to: (1) make the riches of the Christian tradition speak meaningfully into the present without lapsing into misplaced nostalgia, (2) engage constructively with contemporary society without merely conforming to the prevailing spirit of the age, and (3) remain authentically theological, trusting that God is at work, even as He remains beyond our control.

Contesting Computer-Anthropologies

Contesting Computer Anthropologies: A Theology and Anthropology of Technology for the Digital Age

The Contesting Computer Anthropologies project explores what it means to be human in the digital age, particularly in light of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. The goal is to develop a theologically and philosophically grounded Christian understanding of humanity that is both interdisciplinary and socially relevant.

Renewal of Theology and Church

Renewal of Church & Theology: Expecting God. Valuing Tradition. Shaping the Future.

We are exploring new forms of ecclesiology and theology, with a particular focus on the contributions of spiritually vibrant church communities. This includes reimagining how the Christian witness can inspire and renew cultural imagination. At its heart, our work seeks to bring the voice of the Church into the pressing social debates of our time – proactively, thoughtfully, and in dialogue with diverse perspectives.
