The Training Through Research CUSO Maldives expedition sponsored by CUSO, was designed to assess the health state of coral reefs in the Maldives in three different management islands, i.e., a community island: Rasdhoo; an uninhabitated: Vihamaafaru; and a resort: Maayafushi.
The research was accompanied by daily practical and theoretical courses given by experts in the field to give the students a comprehensive overview of tropical marine habitats.
