Next SwissSed Meeting
You are cordially invited to participate and contribute to the upcoming SwissSed Meeting 2026 by registering and submitting an abstract for presentations, talk and/or posters. Please register by sending an email to the local organization committee (swisssed@unifr.ch). Members of the CUSO doctoral school ESPP are invited to register through the link to the CUSO ESPP home page.
This year, we have the pleasure of welcoming two keynote speakers:

Guillaume Paris, CRPG-Nancy, France: "Sulfur cycle reconstruction through the ages, from the ocean to (sedimentary) carbonates".

Boris Karatsolis, UNIFR: "Using microfossils to reconstruct paleoclimatic and ocean circulation dynamics during past warm periods".
Please use the abstract template to prepare and submit your abstract. Poster format is A0 portrait and talks can be prepared using PowerPoint or PDF.
For oral presentations, preference will be given to young scientists at PhD or MSc level. The deadline for abstract submission and registration was Friday 27th February 2026, however, if you wish to join you are cordially invited to register on-siite.
The conference will take place at the University of Fribourg, PER 21, Bd de Pérolles 90, 1700 Fribourg and payment is in cash or via Twint.
