Dr. Ganqi (Gage) Tang - Researcher
Gage is currently a postdoc researcher under the chair of strategic entrepreneurship.
Gage earned his MiM and PhD degrees in Entrepreneurship at IESE Barcelona. He was originally trained as a psychologist (B.Sc. and M.Sc.), with specialisation in emotion and emotion management. Before rejoining academia, he worked as a management consultant, and served clients such as Disney, Bosch, General Motors, and Mercedes-Benz, to name but a few. He speaks English, Spanish, Mandarin, and some French, and he understands some German and Italian.
Research foci:
- Behavioral strategy (strategy formulation and implementation, entrepreneurial strategy);
- Microfoundations of strategy and entrepreneurship (emotion, identity);
- Innovation and entrepreneurship (business model innovation, platform and ecosystem management, digital/AI transformation, and corporate venturing).
