Dr. Ganqi (Gage) Tang - Researcher

Gage is currently a postdoc researcher under the chair of strategic entrepreneurship.

Gage earned his MiM and PhD degrees in Entrepreneurship at IESE Barcelona. He was originally trained as a psychologist (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) and specialised in emotion and emotion management. Before rejoining academia, he worked as a management consultant, and served clients such as Disney, Bosch, General Motors, and Mercedes-Benz, to name but a few. He speaks English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin, and he understands a bit German and Italian.

Research foci:

• Behavioral strategy (strategy formation, change implementation, entrepreneurial pivot);
• Microfoundations of strategy and entrepreneurship (emotion, identity);
• Innovation and entrepreneurship (business model innovation, platform and ecosystem management, digital/AI transformation, and corporate venturing).

• Advanced Entrepreneurship (master)
