AI-Uses Project
The project “Pedagogical resources about AI uses for university teachers” (AI‑Uses) focuses on the use of generative artificial intelligence in higher education teaching.
The project collects and analyses scientific publications on AI uses that support teaching and learning across a wide range of university disciplines. Through a continuous techno‑pedagogical watch, the project aims to develop a better understanding
of the emerging uses of generative AI in higher education and how they can be used responsibly.
Objectives of the project
The AI‑Uses project has three main objectives:
- Identification of key AI applications for teaching, including reflections on the responsible use of generative AI in higher education contexts.
- Extraction of AI uses that can be considered best practices for teaching and learning in university courses.
- Production of pedagogical resources to support university teachers in implementing these best practices in their own teaching.
Project partnership
AI‑Uses is a collaboration between five European universities:
- University of Fribourg – Project leader (Switzerland)
- University of Lapland (Finland)
- University of Pardubice (Czech Republic)
- Ss. Cyril and Methodius University (North Macedonia)
- University of Valladolid (Spain)
The project is associated with the AcrossEU alliance.
Period of development: 2026–2028
