From Idea to Product: Building with AI

Participants will learn how to transform an idea into a concrete product by using AI tools to accelerate development, understand the basic stages of product creation, deliver an MVP and the psychological tricks to avoid and to embrace while shipping a product, and deploy a functional web product.
The workshop follows the journey of a product from an initial idea to a deployed prototype.

  • From idea to opportunity: identifying a problem worth solving and transforming an idea into a concrete product concept;
  • From concept to MVP: defining the minimum viable product and deciding what should actually be built. What to focus on during an MVP and what makes a good MVP;
  • Building with AI: Demonstrating how modern AI coding agents can assist with planning, coding, debugging, and development of a real project;
  • From code to product: connecting the different components of a functional application and improving the user experience;
  • Deployment: taking the prototype from a local development environment to a publicly accessible product;
  • Product thinking: testing the result, identifying weaknesses, and discussing how a prototype can evolve into a real product and the psychological aspects to embrace when developing a product and marketing it.

Objectifs

  • Apply: Participants will use AI-assisted development tools to turn an initial idea into a concrete prototype and apply concepts learned in the course for developing an ideal product;
  • Analyze: Participants will analyze a problem, identify the target users, define the essential components of an MVP, and break down their idea into a practical product;
  • Evaluation: Participants will test and evaluate their prototypes, identify weaknesses, and assess aspects such as user experience, functionality, basic security, and what should be improved;
  • Create: Participants will create a functional prototype based on their own idea, using AI-assisted development tools, and deploy it as a publicly accessible app.
The workshop progresses from applying concepts and analyzing an idea, to evaluating the mvp product and launch the prototype to the public.
