A new term at university is beginning, and with it come questions about what lies ahead. We’re offering a brief overview of how labour is portrayed in cinema, featuring lesser-known films on this topic, all of which, in their own way, explore the employment market, forms of online work and the informal economy, exploitation in the workplace and alienation, as well as the emergence of class consciousness.

The screenings are open to everyone aged 16 and over. Whether you’re a university student or live in Fribourg and the surrounding area, come and watch films with us.

Screenings take place on Tuesdays at 7.15 pm at the university, as well as at various venues around the city.
