The Hérodote Plus programme can only be started in the autumn semester.
Costs
The programme costs 3000 CHF per semester. The invoice is sent directly to the institution responsible for your integration.
This amount covers participation in all components of the programme, but not the possible purchase of materials (computer, books, software, etc.). If a language exam is taken at the Language Centre at the end of the Hérodote programme, the cost of the first attempt is included in the programme fee. If a second attempt is made without extending the Hérodote programme, the exam costs will be invoiced.
For the Hérodote Plus programme, one attempt at the aptitude test for university studies per year is included in the programme cost.
Grants and Scholarships
Hérodote and Hérodote Plus are full‑time study programmes that prepare participants for university studies. Eligible individuals may receive an education subsidy from the Canton of Fribourg.
The University is not involved in awarding subsidies. Further information can be obtained from the Cantonal Office for Training Subsidies.
