Course content and teaching method
The course approaches the teaching of the French language through activities and materials relating to Switzerland, its geography, history, institutions, media, Swiss-specific expressions, stereotypes, traditions and cultural characteristics...
It enables students to practise both speaking and writing.

Time commitment and assessment
The course runs for 1 hour 30 minutes each week and requires approximately 1 hour of independent study per week. It is assessed through an in-class assessment at the end of the semester.

Course materials
All course materials are available on the Moodle platform.

Target audience

This course is for participants who have completed level A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Please only register if your level corresponds to the course. Participants of our partner institutions and Unifr employees can contact us to take a placement test if they are unsure of their level. Unifr students are automatically guided to the placement test when registering for a course on MyUnifr.
