Application Deadlines – Fall Semester 2025

The Institute for International Business Law (IBL) is now accepting applications for the Fall Semester starting on 17 September 2025. Please refer to the application deadlines below, based on your residency and visa requirements:

→ Application Deadline: 15 August 2025 for applicants who are:

• Swiss nationals
• Swiss residence permit holders
• EU nationals
• Online students
  

→ Application Deadline: 30 June 2025 :

• for applicants from outside Switzerland or the EU
  

Visa Information for Non-EU Applicants

Applicants requiring a visa should begin their application process as early as possible. Visa processing may take between 3 to 4 months or longer, depending on the country of passport issuance.

Please note: A student visa can only be granted once all supporting documentation has been fully and correctly submitted to the relevant Swiss authorities. While IBL is not in a position to directly support individual visa applications, we are happy to refer admitted students to legal professionals with experience in student relocation to Switzerland upon request.

If your visa is not granted in time for the Fall Semester, you may:

• Defer your admission to the Spring Semester (February 2026)
