About the Institute

The Institute for International Business Law, located within the esteemed Fribourg University's Faculty of Law, has developed specialized LLM and CAS programs for more than a decade. These offerings cater to aspiring graduates and professionals who seek to advance their careers or transition into fields such as International Business Law, International Contracts & Arbitration, Compliance, and Commodity Trading.

What truly sets these programmes apart is how inclusive they are. Unlike many LLM programmes, admissions are based on the merit of an applicant's previous degree, regardless of field. Whether you're a lawyer or an executive in finance, supply chain, or business, you're welcome to join IBL and deep dive into complex regulatory fields like sanctions, export controls, customs, anti-corruption, and more.

Thank you to our partners for their contributions and support.
