Research fields

Specialised in applied statistics and econometrics, the group has great expertise in the modelling and estimating statistics and econometrics models. To that, we can add a long experience in the construction and the use of databases.

The group has specialised in survey statistics, notably for example in the imputation of missing values. More recently, the group specialises in fuzzy statistics.

Moreover, the group worked on the evaluation of treatments and the decomposition of wage differentials. 

Finally, in the realisation of mandates, regularly the group works with the Swiss Confederation or the cantonal offices. The research results could be published in several scientific journals. Some of them regularly call the group to work as an external reviewer.
