FriMat focus on five core nanomaterial areas, namely:

  • Nano(bio)materials : functionalisation & applications
  • Nanotechnology enabled nano opto-electronics and spintronics
  • Nano-structured / textured material applications
  • Advanced materials as coatings for surface treatments
  • Generation and analysis of advanced materials
  • FriMat will function as an interdisciplinary team of researchers in order to tackle with the above mentioned focus areas.
