Organisation

FriMat function as an interdisciplinary team of researchers from several department or institute of the University of Fribourg.

The main outputs by FriMat are:

• Excellence in scientific publications (papers, conferences, posters,…)
• Partnership for research and industry
• Knowledge pool – also for users from outside
• Instrumentation pool – also for users from outside 
• New Nanomaterials

Director (elected for 3 years): Prof. Andreas Kilbinger

Vice-director (elected for 3 years): Prof. Barbara Rothen-Rutishauser

Board: equal number of representative from AMI and the other departments of the faculty of science and medicine.

Assembly: all members.
