    Description

This seminar introduces how to build and interpret basic multilevel models in R. It is divided into two parts: theory and practice.

    Theory Part:

    • Introduction to the logic of multilevel modeling
    • Understanding hierarchical data structures (e.g., students nested within schools, repeated measures)
    • Random Intercepts and Random Intercepts and Slopes: Understanding how to model variability at different levels
    • Variance Partitioning: How variance is distributed across different
    •  Model Fit and Diagnostic
    • Model components and Equations

    Practical Part:

    • Fitting basic multilevel models in R:
    • Interpreting and reporting results using example datasets
