    Description

This two-day seminar offers Master’s students an introductory, practice-oriented insight into coaching within the field of organizational and personnel psychology. At the beginning of the seminar, students will be introduced to a range of established coaching approaches and their underlying principles. This theoretical overview is grounded in current literature and highlights key distinctions between coaching, training, and therapy.

The practical part of the seminar invites students to engage with core elements of coaching through interactive exercises and guided reflections. In this way, they will explore essential coaching mechanisms—such as perception, understanding, paraphrasing, and hypothesis-building—and gain a better sense of what effective coaching requires in practice.

By the end of the seminar, students will have a clearer understanding of coaching as a professional tool in work-related settings and a realistic perspective on its complexity, opportunities, and potential role in their own career paths.
