Alicia Ferreira Aguiar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Fribourg and a double Master of Science in Management & International Business, jointly awarded by Maastricht University and the Nova School of Business & Economics in Lisbon. She is currently pursuing her academic path at the Chair of Human Resources and Organization as an SNSF-funded PhD candidate and graduate assistant.

Before joining the chair, she gained experience working in multinational companies between Lausanne and Zurich, in strategic consulting and the banking sector, as well as in a start-up in the Netherlands.

Her doctoral research focuses on new ways of working and the role of space in organizational dynamics. In parallel, she actively contributes to the chair’s research and teaching projects.

Passionate about exploring new cultural and organizational environments, she has completed academic stays in Norway and Spain and has participated in collaborative projects. In her free time, she enjoys learning new languages, mountain activities, and playing volleyball.
