Biographie

Jade Bonanno is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Family Medicine, University of Fribourg. She holds a MSc in Applied Psychology from the University of Geneva. Her doctoral research, examines advance care planning in primary care for community-dwelling adults using an implementation science perspective. As part of her thesis, she is conducting a narrative review of existing interventions, with particular attention to implementation strategies and contextual barriers and facilitators in primary care settings.

Her recent research has focused on the implementation of integrative medicine in clinical settings (geriatric and oncology).

Previously, she worked as a scientific collaborator in Research and Development at HESAV (Lausanne), where she contributed to a project aimed at understanding and improving sustainability in operating rooms at the CHUV, with a focus on implementation processes within complex healthcare systems.

Across her academic training and research activities, her work is consistently centred on implementation science and the translation of evidence into routine healthcare practice.
