Specialisation in international relations at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt
Thanks to increased cooperation with the Master in International Relations (MIB) at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in Germany (near Munich), it is now possible to follow specialized courses in international relations as part of our Master in European Studies.
Each academic year, a maximum of three of our Master's students in European Studies have the opportunity to follow core modules 2 and 3 of our curriculum at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
As part of these two core modules, students take courses in the following areas:
‘International law’ (10 ECTS credits - course + seminar with presentation and written work)
‘Theories, structures and regulations of international politics’ (10 ECTS credits - seminar with presentation and written work + exercise with presentation)
‘The history of the 19th and 20th centuries’ (10 ECTS credits - course or exercise with presentation + seminar with presentation and written work)
The languages of instruction are English and German. Before leaving, it is possible to take a language course in Fribourg. For French-speaking students in particular, this exchange offers an excellent opportunity to improve their knowledge of German.
