Our mission is to support teachers in developing their teaching skills for sustainable and responsible university education.
We are committed to playing a central role in promoting a culture of teaching quality and pedagogical innovation within our university.
Members of UniFR can benefit from our services free of charge. These are divided into three areas:
Teaching is a profession that should and can be learned
Teaching at university is not limited to knowledge transmission: it is a professional practice that is developed, enriched and renewed all through one's career. The aim is to improve the quality of teaching and learning by exploring new approaches, exchanging ideas with colleagues and drawing on the most recent research in higher education didactics.
This continuous professional development requires key skills that are used throughout the various stages of teaching:
- Before the course: Course Design, then Resources and activity development
- During the course: Course facilitation and Learning support
- After the course: Learning assessment and Course improvement
- Throughout the course: Continuous teaching management and integration of educational technology (digital tools and AI) to support student learning
Our team will support you in developing your teaching skills.
