MyPLE

PLE is the acronym for Personal Learning Environment and refers to the system of resources that help students to learn: material resources (e.g. books, a place to work), digital resources (e.g. a word processor such as Word), human resources (e.g. teachers, colleagues) and symbolic resources (e.g. prior knowledge).

In constructing their PLE, students choose digital tools that will help them learn and also develop the knowledge they need to carry out the activities they need to succeed in their studies.

To support students in their choices and development, the MyPLE website offers

• An explanation of the 9 activities and their 57 stages;
• 100 digital tools to support each stage activity;
• 23 families of digital tools (concept map, bibliography manager, word processor, etc.);
• links to training courses, other explanatory resources, etc.
