  • Designing a Training for Infection Prevention in Virtual Reality

Collaboration with the USZ (Klinik für Spitalhygiene und Infektionsprävention) and the development company Ateo with the software ViRTUE.
In this project, we conduct a series of quantitative and experimental studies in an ergonomic and didactics perspective, to determine which features and learning instructions best support trainees performance.
 

  • Affective Design of Instructional Materials

A series of studies are conducted together with Master and Doctoral students to test different affective features in the learning materials and learning context that can influence learning, interest, and cognitive load.

  • Teaching and Learning with Instructional Video

Within this project, we investigate how to implement multimedia design principle in authentic video for Secondary and Tertiary Education. Further, we investigate teachers and students perspectives on what makes a good instructional video, and how to support them to make the most appropriate choice.
