DCCMP End-of-Semester Event: Innovative projects, inspiring discussions, fresh perspectives
On 17 December 2025, we concluded the semester together in the Joint Master’s programme in Digital Communication and Creative Media Production (DCCMP). Once again this year, Giesserei Oerlikon provided a splendid setting for the event.
The evening was entirely dedicated to the students and their work, featuring inspiring insights, in-depth discussions and palpable enthusiasm for digital communication and creative media production.
The third-semester students were the first to take the stage. They presented the concept, content and design of their projects, ranging from prototypes to fully developed productions. Their contributions clearly demonstrated how closely theory, research and practice-oriented, media-technical implementation are intertwined within the DCCMP.
The second part featured a large exhibition with seventeen project stands by first- and third-semester students. The open atmosphere invited visitors to experience the projects up close, gain an insight into their background and engage in conversation with the student teams. The diversity of topics and formats impressively demonstrated the breadth of the range of issues the students tackle within the programme, and the high standards set in terms of quality, relevance and impact.
We warmly congratulate all the students on their excellent contributions, their professionalism and their commitment!
A big thank you goes to all the lecturers, our programme directors and the Institute Council for their guidance and support throughout the semester.
Special thanks go to our industry partners Good Impact, Headliner, Klimareporter, laif foundation, Europa Park and Glas Trösch. Your willingness to collaborate, the commissions you provide and the opportunities you offer create learning environments that are closely linked to real-world practice and foster projects with a genuine impact.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas, a relaxing break over the New Year and a successful start to the new year. We look forward to the coming semester and to the next inspiring projects from our students and their industry partners.
