Lending suspended from December
The Language Centre’s media library is moving to MIS 10 in early 2026! Lending stops in December. Borrowed items can still be returned to the Library of Foreign Languages and Multilingualism (BLE, Rue du Criblet 13) between 1 December 2025 and 13 February 2026. Lending will resume on 16 February 2026.
While the Language Centre's media library is closed, you can borrow self-study materials from the BLE. This library has an excellent collection with similar resources.
The media library offers a variety of resources for learning around 60 languages, including complementary materials to the courses given at the Language Centre, magazines (Deutsch Perfekt, ECOS, écoute, ADESSO, Spotlight) with audio CDs, specialised self-study materials for preparing for certification exams, language games and links to learning programmes.
It provides workstations and connected computers equipped for the use of digital media. Two separate rooms will allow you to work in tandem and practise pronunciation. The resources can be borrowed by members of the University of Fribourg and partner institutions.
