Electrical stimulation can control cellular activity and tissue function, but conventional approaches rely on wired electrodes and implants. Magnetoelectric materials offer a wireless alternative by converting magnetic fields into local electrical signals. In this talk, I will show how we combine magnetoelectrics, microrobotics, and microfabrication to create interfaces with cells and tissues. I will discuss magnetoelectric systems for wireless electrostimulation, their integration into microrobots for controlled motion and minimally invasive delivery, and how releasing thin films from substrates creates mechanically adaptive membranes capable of deformation and 3D reconfiguration. Together, these examples show how mechanics, geometry, and functionality can be engineered across scales for wireless bioelectronics and regenerative medicine.
