The bench2biz Workshop in November, 2026, is currently accepting applications – Deadline October 1, 2026!

Do you have a research result that you would like to pursue entrepreneurially, but you don’t know how to begin?

The free Bench2Biz 2026 “First steps to commercializing your research result” workshop is scheduled for November 12-19, and your applications are welcome ! This workshop is sponsored by both the SNSF and Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE/IPI).

The dates for 2026 are:
- 3 November, afternoon online workshop on intellectual property and patents (Swiss Patent Office, IPI/IGE)
- 12 November, 15:00 – 19:00 kick-off on-site in Bern
- 13, 16, 17 November, 13:00 – 17:30 online
- 19 November, 09:00 – 17:30, final day on-site in Fribourg

They will provide you with a team of experts, MBA students, and coaches, who will collaborate with you for the entire week, and get you started on the right foot.
