Biographie
Kathrin von Allmen est une post-doctorante et chargée de cours à l'University of Fribourg Environmental Sciences and Humanities Institut (UniFR_ESH) depuis avril 2023. Auparavant, elle était doctorante au l'institut de philosophie et à l'institut de sociologie de l'Université de Zurich, où elle a écrit une thèse sur le concept de responsabilité de remédier aux dommages dans le contexte du changement climatique. Pendant son doctorat, elle a effectué des séjours de recherche à l'université de Columbia, à l'université Northeastern et à l'université Humboldt de Berlin. Kathrin von Allmen mène des recherches et publie des articles sur l'éthique climatique, la justice (climatique), la philosophie morale et la philosophie féministe. Elle enseigne à l'Institut UniFR_ESH dans le domaine de l'éthique climatique et environnementale et travaille en tant que chargée de cours externe à l'Institut de sociologie de l'Université de Zurich dans le domaine de la philosophie des sciences. Depuis 2019, Kathrin von Allmen est membre du comité et trésorière du Society for Women* in Philosophy Switzerland, et depuis 2021, elle est également membre du comité de la Philosophische Gesellschaft Bern (krino).
Avant d'obtenir son doctorat, Kathrin von Allmen a obtenu un master en philosophie politique, juridique et économique et un bachelor en philosophie et écologie générale à l'Université de Berne.
