Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night performed by students of the English Department
During the current Fall semester, Professor Dutton and Dr. Blanc are offering a seminar on Shakespeare’s romantic comedy Twelfth Night. What makes it unique is that it will be performed in English, German, French and Italian, highlighting the Swiss linguistic melting pot. It is a student-led production, which means that students had the chance to translate the play and are currently working on rehearsals, design, and the media production of the play.
There will be two performances at the Kellerpoche Theatre in Fribourg’s Basse Ville on 18th and 19th of December (19:30 start). We would be pleased to invite students and faculty staff to this event. To reserve your spot, you can send an e-mail (starting from 7am on the 4th of December) to 12th_night@gmx.ch, saying how many seats you would like to reserve and the names of the people attending.
Please beware that tickets are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis!
Tickets are FREE. There will be a closing collection and a cash bar.
